By using History Daily you agree to these terms. It is an educational conversation tool, not a source of professional advice, and the historical figures in it are simulated by software.
The service
History Daily provides simulated conversations with historical figures, along with study tools and reference material. Every reply is generated by an AI model. It is not the words of the real person, and it can be incomplete, mistaken, or anachronistic. Verify anything that matters with an authoritative source before relying on it.
Not professional advice
Nothing in the app is medical, legal, financial, educational, or mental-health advice. Do not rely on a generated reply for a decision that needs a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or need urgent help, contact your local emergency services rather than the app.
Who may use it
You must be at least 13 years old to use History Daily. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. You are responsible for what you send to the app and for keeping access to your account secure.
Free allowance
Free accounts can send a limited number of messages each day to the figures included in the free tier. The allowance resets daily. We may change the size of the allowance or which figures are included, and will show the current limits in the app.
Premium subscriptions
Premium removes the daily message limit and unlocks every historical figure. Monthly and annual plans are offered. The price, billing period, and any free trial are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase, in your local currency.
Billing, renewal, and cancellation
For purchases made through Apple, the following applies:

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
•
The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
•
Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
•
Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
•
If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
•
Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not refund the current period, and access continues until that period ends.
Purchases made elsewhere
If you subscribe on the web rather than through an app store, billing is handled by our payment provider and you can cancel using the customer-management link sent with your receipt and shown in the app. Refunds for app store purchases are handled by the app store under its own policy, not by us.
Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully and reasonably. Specifically, do not:

Attempt to bypass access controls, message limits, or payment
•
Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service
•
Use generated content to impersonate a living person, deceive, or harass
•
Submit content that is unlawful, or that you have no right to share
Your content
You keep whatever rights you have in the messages and images you send. You grant us permission to process them for the purpose of running the service, which includes sending them to the AI providers described in the Privacy Policy so a reply can be generated. We do not claim ownership of your conversations.
Availability and changes
We may add, change, or remove features, including historical figures, and may update these terms as the service changes. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Where a change materially affects your use, we will give notice in the app or by email where practical. If you keep using the app after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.
Ending your use
You can stop using History Daily at any time, and you can delete your saved chat data from Privacy & Data in your profile. We may suspend or end access to an account that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used to harm the service or other people.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision you make in reliance on generated content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusions above, so they may not apply to you.
